Terms & Conditions
Last updated: March 2026
1. DEFINITIONS
"Havely" means Havely, the hotel booking platform operated at havely.app.
"Third-party supplier" means the hotels, accommodation providers, and inventory/rate suppliers whose products are made available through the Havely platform via LiteAPI.
"Unavoidable and extraordinary circumstance" means a situation outside the control of the parties the consequences of which could not have been avoided despite all reasonable measures being taken, including but not limited to: war or threat thereof, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity and its consequences, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, health risks and pandemics, and actual or potential severe weather conditions.
"Terms" means these terms and conditions, our Cookie Policy, and our Privacy Policy.
"we", "us" and "our" means Havely.
"Platform" means the website at havely.app and any associated services.
"You" and "Your" means the registered user who makes a booking and all persons named on the booking confirmation.
2. ACCOUNT REQUIREMENT
Havely requires all users to create an account and sign in before making a booking. Guest checkout is not available. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. CONTACTING US
For any booking queries or support requests, please contact us at:
- Email: emmanuelsekyi@havely.app
When contacting support, please provide your Havely booking reference and/or hotel confirmation code so we can locate your booking quickly.
4. AGREEMENT
You should read these Terms carefully before you book to see how they affect your specific booking arrangements.
By creating an account or making a booking on the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Cookie Policy, and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms, you cannot proceed with your booking.
5. HOW BOOKING WORKS
Havely provides a search-to-book experience powered by third-party hotel inventory and rates supplied via LiteAPI. The booking flow works as follows:
- Search: You search for hotels by destination, dates, and number of guests. Results are returned in real time from third-party suppliers.
- Prebook: When you select a room offer, a prebook request is made to confirm current availability and price. Availability and price may change until a booking is confirmed.
- Book: After entering your guest details and completing payment, the booking is confirmed. You will receive a booking confirmation with your reference number.
Hotel inventory and rates come from third-party suppliers via LiteAPI. The hotel's own rules, conditions, and policies apply to each booking in addition to these Terms.
6. GUEST DETAILS RESPONSIBILITY
You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all lead guest / holder information provided during the booking process, including:
- Full name (as it appears on identification documents)
- Email address
- Phone number
Incorrect or incomplete guest details may result in the hotel refusing check-in, and Havely will not be liable for any loss arising from inaccurate information you provide.
7. BOOKING CONFIRMATION
To confirm a booking, you hereby confirm that:
- You are over the age of 18 and have sufficient authorization to make bookings and enter into legal agreements.
- You have the consent of all people named in the booking.
- All persons in the booking party have accepted these Terms.
- You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all details supplied.
- You are responsible for any payments related to your booking, including charges arising from cancellation or amendments.
8. PAYMENT
Havely uses the LiteAPI Payment SDK to process payments securely. When you complete the payment step during checkout:
- Payment may be authorized and/or captured depending on the payment method and rate rules.
- Your booking is only confirmed after a successful booking response is received. An authorization alone does not guarantee the booking.
- Payment transactions are encrypted via the secure payment gateway. Havely does not store your full card details.
The price you pay includes the total cost of accommodation as specified on your booking confirmation. Please note:
- Prices may not include all local fees (e.g. tourist tax, resort fees) which may be payable directly to the hotel.
- Your bank or card provider may apply currency conversion fees or transaction charges which are beyond Havely's control.
9. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
Cancellation and refund terms are governed by the cancellation policy returned with the rate at the time of prebook and booking. This policy is displayed to you before you confirm your booking.
- Cancellation fees may apply, up to 100% of the booking value depending on the rate and supplier policy.
- All cancellation requests must be made through Havely, not directly with the hotel.
- If eligible for a refund, it will be processed within 5–20 working days of the cancellation.
10. NO-SHOWS
If you do not arrive at the hotel on the check-in date and have not cancelled your booking in advance, this will be treated as a no-show. No-shows are subject to the rate rules and supplier policies associated with your booking, which may result in a charge of up to 100% of the booking amount with no refund.
11. DISPUTES
Any disputes regarding your stay, room condition, or hotel services should be raised with Havely support first. We will liaise with the supplier/hotel on your behalf.
Please do not contact LiteAPI or the supplier directly — Havely acts as your point of contact for all booking-related issues.
12. SUPPORT BOUNDARIES
Havely handles:
- Booking inquiries, confirmations, and reference lookups
- Cancellation and refund requests (subject to rate policies)
- Guest detail corrections (where possible before check-in)
Issues that may require hotel/supplier escalation include:
- On-site service complaints (room quality, amenities, staff)
- Special requests not confirmed at time of booking
- Charges applied directly by the hotel during your stay
In all cases, Havely will coordinate with the supplier. You should not need to contact the supplier or LiteAPI directly.
13. THIRD-PARTY SUPPLY
Havely is an intermediary platform. Hotel inventory, rates, and availability are provided by third-party suppliers via LiteAPI. Havely does not own, operate, or control the hotels listed on the Platform.
The hotel's own terms and conditions apply to your stay. Havely is not responsible for the hotel's performance, facilities, or services beyond what is confirmed in your booking.
14. BOOKING MODIFICATION
All modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. To request a change, contact Havely support at emmanuelsekyi@havely.app. Some changes may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking.
15. INSURANCE
You are strongly advised to take out adequate travel insurance prior to your trip. No insurance is provided through Havely or the Platform.
16. UNAVOIDABLE AND EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES
Havely will not be liable for any changes, cancellations, or losses arising from Unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances as defined in Section 1.
17. FRAUD OR UNLAWFUL ACTIVITY
Payments must be authorized by the cardholder named in the booking. We reserve the right to cancel or block a booking without prior notice if we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity.
18. PERSONAL DATA AND PRIVACY
By using the Platform and making a booking, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Data is processed to facilitate search, booking, payment, and customer support.
19. COMPLAINTS
If something goes wrong during your stay, please notify the hotel directly and then contact Havely support as soon as possible. Written complaints should be sent to emmanuelsekyi@havely.app within 21 days of your stay.
20. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Havely's maximum liability for any loss or damage arising from a booking is limited to the price paid for the booking. Havely is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
21. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
22. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
